The piece
Hereke
Hand-knotted from pure silk, this Persian area rug from the Hereke Collection displays traditional craftsmanship with intricate artistry. The design features a layered central medallion surrounded by dense floral vines on a soft beige field, framed by dark navy spandrels and detailed multi-tiered borders. Rich tones of brown, tan, cream, and deep red accentuate the ornate botanical patterns throughout. The silk pile provides a smooth, medium-height texture with a subtle sheen, finished with fringe along the ends.
