The piece
Kundan
Hand-knotted in India from pure silk, this rug from the Kundan Collection reinterprets classic Persian motifs through a modern, abstract lens. A warm beige and ivory field provides a balanced background for vibrant, distressed motifs in rich tones of magenta, ruby red, emerald green, saffron yellow, teal, and charcoal. The medium silk pile offers a smooth texture with a natural, subtle sheen that catches the light across the intricate pixelated and striated patterns.
