Why we love Newport
Newport sits where the Pacific Ocean meets Yaquina Bay, and you feel that meeting in everything. Fog rolls in soft and silver, then lifts to reveal bright water and wide skies. Fishing boats work the bay, sea lions bark along the waterfront, and the historic Yaquina Bay Bridge arcs over it all. Up and down the coast, Depoe Bay watches for whales, Lincoln City draws beachcombers and kite flyers, and Seal Rock and South Beach offer tide pools and long, windswept sand. Inland, Siletz, Logsden and Eddyville trade surf for green forest and quiet river valleys.
That coastal palette follows you indoors. Shoppers around Newport are choosing blues, grays, navy, green and yellow, the colors of sea, mist, evergreen and a sudden break of sunshine. Modern, traditional and vintage styles all find a home here, in machine made and hand tufted weaves that stand up to sandy boots and damp coastal days. Rugs.com brings those looks together, so you can warm your floors the way the coast warms your spirit. Come explore what Newport loves.
Shop Newport's favoritesOcean Colors Indoors
Blue, navy and gray echo the Pacific and the morning mist. A rug in these shades makes a living room feel like an open window onto the bay.
Forest Green and Sunny Yellow
Coastal Oregon is lush with evergreen hills, and yellow lights up the rare bright day. Rugs in green or yellow bring that cheerful glow into a bedroom or sunroom.
Cozy Rugs for Misty Days
When rain and fog settle over the coast, home becomes a refuge. A hand tufted rug adds softness to your floors, while a machine made one handles the comings and goings of beach life.
