Cowhide - Patchwork
Hand-made of cowhide and leather, this patchwork rug is composed of small, precisely stitched squares that form a dense, tonal field of black. Subtle variations in the hide create depth across the surface while contrasted bands at each end use ivory, cream and gray squares to form a stepped checkerboard motif. The hair-on-hide finish has a low, tactile nap with a natural sheen and a supple, slightly textured feel underfoot.
