Hand-knotted, 100% wool with a pleasantly dense, high-pile hand, this rug offers a soft, cushioned surface and subtle texture underfoot. A deep black ground sets the stage for a lively mix of geometric and pictorial motifs—diamonds, chevrons, hourglass shapes, checkerboard clusters and small abstract marks—knotted in ivory, red, pink, gold and green. The asymmetrical placement of the motifs gives the piece a handcrafted, playful rhythm while the plush wool pile adds visible depth and softness.
