The piece
Oushak
Hand-knotted from 100% wool, this 9x12 rectangular rug from the Oushak Collection combines classic artistry with a modern aesthetic. The rich black background serves as a bold foundation for stylized botanical motifs, palmettes, and an ornate framing border. Accents of muted gray, light brown, soft ivory, and warm ochre yellow create an earthy, balanced contrast throughout the design. Crafted with a medium pile, the pure wool fibers offer a substantial, soft texture underfoot while ensuring lasting resilience in busy indoor spaces.
