Hand-knotted of 100% wool, this rug presents a deep black ground washed with layered tones of blue, ivory and gray. The pattern is intentionally low-contrast and worn, with subtle abrash and soft striations that create a vintage, overdyed effect rather than a defined motif. The pile sits at a low-to-medium profile with a dense, smooth hand; the wool gives the surface a gentle, natural luster and a comfortable texture underfoot.

Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Entryway
A 3x5 or 4x6 rug works well for most entryways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.

For a seating area, choose a rug large enough so that at least the front legs of all furniture pieces sit on the rug. Common sizes are 8x10 or 9x12.
