The piece
Ghom Silk
Handmade from 100% silk, this Persian rug from the Ghom Silk Collection showcases an intricate prayer niche design centered around an ornate vase motif. The field transitions between vibrant turquoise and deep navy blue, overlaid with densely woven botanical vines, palmettes, and floral clusters in shades of coral, blush pink, ivory, and sage green. Multi-layered borders frame the pictorial center, finished with refined short fringes along the ends. The pure silk construction yields a smooth, luminous texture with a medium pile that highlights every fine line of the artisan craftsmanship.
