Hand-knotted of 100% wool, this rug has a low, tightly knotted pile with a soft, slightly nubby hand that feels substantial beneath your feet. A blue ground is woven with lighter ivory threads to form fine horizontal striations, framed by stepped zigzag borders and a central column of diamond outlines. The woven fringe at each end and the subtle irregularities in the weave give the piece an artisanal, handcrafted presence while the raised motifs add gentle texture without heaviness.
