Product Description
Hand-knotted from 100% wool in Iran, this 8x11 rectangular rug from the Ultra Vintage Collection showcases a heavily distressed, overdyed aesthetic. The flat pile features a dark blue-gray field with subtle, faded traditional medallion and border motifs emerging in deep black tones. The distressed finish and weathered horizontal abrash striations give the traditional pattern a moody, abstract sensibility that merges historic craftsmanship with contemporary style.
This blue area rug brings grounded character to open living rooms, large dining rooms, and home offices. Place it under a glass or dark walnut dining table to let the subtle patterning show through, or center it beneath a neutral linen sofa and industrial metal accents. The rich blue-gray and black palette pairs seamlessly with charcoal, slate, and minimalist monochrome decor schemes.
