The piece
Ghom Silk
This rectangular Persian rug from the Ghom Silk Collection displays intricate craftsmanship with traditional artistry. Hand-made from silk in Iran, it features a medium pile that offers a smooth, refined texture underfoot and a subtle natural sheen. The design centers on an elaborate floral medallion set against a rich bordeaux field, framed by layered gold borders and scrolling vine motifs. Detailed fringe along the ends completes the classic aesthetic.
