Ariana Ziegler
A classic, Persian-inspired field of narrow vertical stripes sits on a warm brick red background, each stripe filled with delicate floral and vine motifs in alternating bands of cream, blue, navy, rust red, orange, beige and brown. A cream floral guard border frames the design and the brick red outer band gives the composition a grounded edge. The pattern reads as traditional and orderly, with enough color variation in the hand-dyed wool to create subtle depth and movement across the surface.
