Oushak
A hand-knotted 100% wool rug with a rich brown field, this piece shows a relaxed, old-world layout of oversized medallions and irregular floral motifs. Muted yellow, gray, beige and ivory motifs are worked with a slightly raised pile that you can feel beneath your fingers, set against a low-sheen brown background that gives the design depth without gloss. A broken, decorative border and short fringe at the ends complete the composition, offering a lived-in, artisanal character.
