The piece
Ghom Silk
Hand-made of silk, this Persian-inspired rug centers on an ornate medallion set against a warm brown background. Scrolling floral vines and stylized blossoms fill the field, while a darker, richly patterned border and corner spandrels frame the composition. Accents of soft rose, pale cream and muted aqua provide delicate contrast against the brown field, giving the overall design a balanced, traditional look.

The silk pile is tightly knotted and feels smooth and satiny to the touch, with a low profile that offers a subtle sheen when it catches the light. Use this piece to anchor a small seating area in a formal living room, add layered warmth at the foot of a bed, or place it in an entry or study to complement wood furniture and painted neutrals. It pairs especially well with warm woods and upholstered pieces in muted rose or teal for a cohesive, collected interior.
