A succession of inner borders—tiny floral vines and a wider band of multicolored rosettes—frames the center, while striped endbands echo the rug’s palette of red, orange, green, gold and beige. The wool weave has a pleasantly dense hand; the surface feels substantial and slightly plush underfoot, with the natural pile bringing depth to the rich, earthy hues.
