Hand-knotted from 100% wool, this rug has a low-to-medium pile with a tactile, slightly slubby surface that invites you to run your hand across it. The brown background provides a warm, grounded base while layers of gray and black flecks add depth and subtle movement. Narrow, irregular horizontal stripes in ivory, light blue, light brown and peach cross the field at even intervals, giving the piece a quiet, linear rhythm. Narrow multi-color selvedges and short fringed ends reinforce its handcrafted character.
