A warm brown field provides the base for a lively horizontal stripe design woven with hand-knotted construction. Bands of black and ivory alternate with the brown ground, while small, raised polka-dot motifs in yellow, olive, orange, red, pink and light blue add playful pops of color across the surface. The top feels dense and tightly woven underhand with a slightly nubby texture where the colorful knots rise, and leather-bound edges give the piece a finished, furniture-like presence.
