Set against a deep Burgundy background, this hand-knotted, 100% wool rug presents a classic tribal layout with two bold geometric diamond medallions stacked along the center field. The medallions are filled with stepped motifs and angular crosses in beige, blue, green, brown and ivory, while a row of small rosette-like motifs and serrated corner elements add rhythm between the larger forms. Multiple guard borders frame the field—a chain-style band in ivory and blue and a stepped, sawtooth edge in beige and brown—creating a structured, traditional composition with clear, graphic lines.
