Hand-knotted from 100% wool, this Gabbeh-inspired rug centers on a deep burgundy ground that frames a warm red-orange field patterned with a dense grid of small ivory marks. Horizontal striations of brown and red across the burgundy bands add subtle variation, while a row of square ivory-and-brown motifs anchors each end, giving the piece a measured, geometric rhythm. The tight hand-knotting produces a slightly dense, springy pile you can feel underfoot, with the natural wool offering a soft, tactile surface and a low, muted luster.
