Made of cowhide and leather, the rug combines cream, ivory, beige, tan and touches of brown in a quiet, tonal mosaic. The hair-on-hide surface has a soft nap with gentle variation in sheen and color from patch to patch, while the leather backing and stitched seams give a grounded, tactile structure underfoot.
