Ghom Silk
Hand made of silk, this rug uses a classic Persian medallion composition with a finely detailed central round medallion that radiates scrolling vines, palmettes and floral sprays across a cream field. The design is framed by layered guard borders and scalloped spandrels, all rendered with crisp knotting that reveals subtle variations in tone. A soft palette of cream, dusty rose, muted blue, taupe and pale sage gives the pattern a calm, refined look, while the low silk pile provides a smooth, satiny sheen and a pleasantly tactile surface underfoot.
