The piece
Tabriz
Hand made of wool and silk, this rug presents a traditional Oriental floral layout on a cream background. Scrolling vines, palmettes and stylized floral motifs fill the field and are contained by a layered floral border that reinforces the rug’s refined symmetry. The color story pairs cream and beige with warm brown and red accents, while touches of gray and olive lend subtle depth and contrast to the pattern.
