Hand-knotted in 100% wool, this rug presents a calm dark beige field framed by a rich burgundy outer band and accented with tan linear details. The design keeps the center intentionally open, bordered by a fine tan inner line and punctuated at two corners with a string of elongated oval and loop motifs that add a hand-drawn, graphic touch. The wool pile has a low-to-medium nap with a soft, slightly textured surface that feels warm underfoot and shows subtle tonal variation where the motifs and borders catch the light.
