Hand Made of Silk, this rug presents a classic Persian medallion composition with a sunburst central medallion set against a rich red field, filled with finely drawn scrolling vines and floral palmettes. A broad dark blue border frames the design, with ivory, soft gold and beige accents that pick out each motif. The silk pile is low and smooth, delivering a soft, luminous sheen and crisp knot definition that gives the pattern a tactile clarity when you run your hand across it.
