The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
Handmade from cowhide and leather, this rug has a dark brown hair-on-hide field marked by a tight, small-scale black motif that gives the surface subtle visual texture. Sweeping, curved leather insets in warm brown cross the rug in organic arcs, creating a patchwork effect with clear tonal contrast between the soft hide and the smooth leather seams. The tactile mix is immediate to the touch: a low-nap, slightly napped hide underfoot with sleek leather lines that sit a hair higher and catch the light differently.
