Cowhide Leather
A tightly worked mosaic of small square patches creates a striking geometric field set against a dark brown background. Blocks of ivory, beige, tan, gray, black and various browns form a checkerboard-like pattern with subtle irregularities that give the surface visual movement. Handmade from cowhide and leather, the rug has a low, hair-on-hide pile with a slight natural sheen; each patch shows tactile grain and color variation and the hand-stitched joins add a faint linear texture underfoot.
