The piece
Ultra Vintage
Hand-knotted in Iran from 100% wool, this 9x12 rectangular rug from the Ultra Vintage Collection showcases a distressed Oriental medallion pattern. A dark gray field serves as the backdrop for subtle black motifs and intricate borders that fade softly across the surface. The flat pile construction provides a streamlined, smooth profile underfoot while highlighting the authentic vintage wash and tonal depth of the natural fibers.

This gray area rug anchors expansive interior spaces such as a formal living room, primary bedroom, or open-concept dining room. The moody, monochromatic palette pairs naturally with modern industrial accents, dark iron fixtures, weathered leather sofas, and walnut or light oak wood flooring. Place it under an eight-person dining table or center it in an executive office to create a balanced foundation.
