El Paso has the easy, layered charm of a home filled over many years. Its eight designs mix two looks: patchwork fields where pieced medallions, diamonds and stepped tiles overlap like a quilt sewn from old carpets, and orderly rows of folk-art blossoms and sprigs set inside scrolling, framing borders. Every one is softly faded and heathered, so the pattern looks lived-with rather than brand new.
The mood shifts between vintage and modern, traditional and cottage, which makes these rugs easy to style. Lay one under a farmhouse table, beside a velvet sofa crowded with mismatched pillows, or in a bedroom full of plants and flea-market finds. Oriental, abstract and geometric pattern all come together here with a bohemian, slightly Moroccan, slightly southwestern spirit.
Up close, the pile is soft and dense at 0.5 inches, machine made in 100% polypropylene, with a neatly bound, fringeless edge. Rectangles come in a range of sizes and colorways, from a 2x3 accent for the entry to a 10x13 that fills a large living room.
- Patchwork medallions, pieced like a quiltSome designs piece medallions, stepped diamonds and tile blocks together in an off-kilter patchwork, as if several old rugs were stitched into one. It brings a collected, one-of-a-kind look to a living room or den without any hunting through markets.
- Folk-garden rows inside framing bordersOther designs set tidy rows of folk-art blossoms and little sprigs across a faded field, all framed by scrolling vine borders. The effect is orderly and charming, a cottage-pretty take on oriental pattern that grounds a dining table or bed beautifully.
- Eclectic spirit that crosses stylesVintage, traditional, cottage and modern all at once, with a bohemian, Moroccan and southwestern accent. Pair it with farmhouse wood, mid-century lines or global textiles and it feels at home.
- Soft pile, clean bound edgeA dense 0.5 inch pile of machine-made polypropylene feels soft underfoot, and the bound, fringeless edge keeps the look tidy, from a small entry accent up to a 10x13 for open rooms.
