The piece
Ultra Vintage
A low-contrast, vintage-inspired field with a faint rectangular border gives this rug a quietly worn character. The graphite gray background provides a deep, even base while black accents weave through the surface to create soft variations in tone and subtle visual texture. Hand-knotted in 100% wool, the pile feels dense and slightly plush underfoot with a muted luster that catches light differently as you move across it, enhancing the lived-in look without competing with other room elements.

It pairs cleanly with light or warm-toned upholstery for contrast, complements leather seating and metal accents in industrial or loft settings, and tucks neatly under a dining table or bed to ground a room with a calm, sophisticated presence. Use it in a contemporary living room, a minimalist office, or a transitional space where you want a moody, textural foundation that supports layered decor.
