The piece
Vintage Royal
A weathered antique aesthetic defines this Persian design from the Vintage Royal Collection. Hand made from 100% wool in Iran, the piece showcases a central medallion and ornate floral borders subtly obscured by an overdyed, distressed finish. The dominant cool slate grey field is textured with horizontal striations and enriched by deep charcoal, soft brown undertones, and delicate white accents at the fringed edges. A medium pile provides natural durability and dense comfort underfoot.

Generously sized at 10x13, this grey Persian rug serves as a grounded anchor for large living rooms, primary bedrooms, and formal dining rooms. Pair it with mid-century walnut furniture, brushed nickel fixtures, and neutral linen upholstery to balance its moody tones. The subdued, monochromatic palette also complements industrial spaces with exposed brick or modern rooms incorporating leather and dark wood finishes.
