Kazak
A hand made 100% wool rug with a warm grey field and a balanced arrangement of geometric medallions and smaller lozenge and floral motifs. Rich accents of red, green, orange and brown enliven the surface while a multi-band border with repeating rosette motifs defines the edge. The hand-made wool pile has a plush, slightly dense handle and a subtle, tactile texture where the knotting and tonal variations are visible to the touch, giving the design depth and character.
