The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
Hand-made of cowhide and leather, this patchwork rug pairs a cool gray ground with bold black circular motifs. The gray background features a tight, repeating arrow-like pattern that gives the surface subtle movement, while large black leather rings overlap across the field in a modern, geometric arrangement. The leather rings offer a smooth, low-sheen finish contrasted by the slightly textured, tactile quality of the cowhide patches and the visible seams of the patchwork construction.
