A subtle, allover geometric trellis fills a muted gray field with cream motifs that form an orderly, repeating lattice. A narrow inner border and a wider outer band carry a Greek-key and linked motif that frame the center pattern and add a touch of traditional structure. Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, the surface has a soft, tactile quality—there’s a slight slub and natural tonal variation in the wool that gives the flat, low-to-medium pile a lived-in depth and a warm hand underfoot.
This rug pairs easily with both classic and contemporary furnishings: place it beneath a neutral upholstered seating group to ground a living room, under a dining table to introduce pattern without distraction, or in a bedroom to add textural warmth against hardwood floors. Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Entryway
A 3x5 or 4x6 rug works well for most entryways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.
Living Room
For a seating area, choose a rug large enough so that at least the front legs of all furniture pieces sit on the rug. Common sizes are 8x10 or 9x12.
