Hand-knotted, 100% wool construction gives this rug a substantial, tactile surface with a low-to-medium pile and subtle variations in knotting that invite touch. A steady gray field provides the backdrop for a structured, geometric composition: an ivory stepped medallion anchors the center, flanked by bold black outlines and a deep red central motif. Repeated diamond and square motifs in red and ivory punctuate the field, while small gold accents add a warm highlight against the gray. A serrated ivory-and-black border frames the piece and reinforces its graphic, linear character.
