The piece
Kundan
Hand-knotted in India from pure silk, this rug from the Kundan Collection displays a refined interpretation of traditional Persian design. The composition centers on a textured gray and silver field, softened by a distressed finish that allows subtle hints of gold and muted rose to emerge along the delicate borders. The medium silk pile provides a smooth, lustrous surface with gentle sheen that shifts under changing light, creating depth across the rectangular profile.
