The piece
Nain
A refined Persian-style medallion rug with a strong green field, this piece presents a central circular medallion surrounded by an allover network of scrolling floral vines and palmettes. The broad cream and ivory border anchors the design, while blue corner spandrels and small accents of brown, pink and burgundy add depth and visual interest. The balanced composition and traditional motifs give the rug a formal, timeless character that works as a focal point without overwhelming a room.

Hand knotted of silk and Kork, the pile has a soft, smooth touch from the silk and modest body from the Kork, producing a low-profile surface with a subtle sheen. Fine knotting sharpens the floral details and medallion, so the pattern is both crisp to the eye and pleasant to the hand. Place this rug beneath a seating group in a formal living room, under a dining table to add calm structure, or in a study or entry where its traditional pattern can set an elegant tone. It pairs particularly well with warm wood furniture, brass or nickel accents, and upholstery in ivory, deep blue, or burgundy.
