Hanahan takes the simple stripe and makes it play. Short, sketchy lines gather into blocks, and each block turns its own way, some running across, some running up, so the whole rug reads like a loose, airy basketweave. It is modern pattern with a light touch: lively enough to give a room movement, quiet enough to sit under almost anything.
The pattern runs allover with no border and no fringe, so the design carries right to a clean edge. Softer tonal colorways and crisper contrast ones both keep the same relaxed, sketched character.
Each rug is machine made from 100% polypropylene in a low frieze pile about 0.5 inches high, with a soft, slightly nubby texture that gives the lines a gentle, textured look. The collection includes two designs and comes in a range of sizes and colorways, from a 2x3 accent to a generous 10x14.
