I am really glad I bought this rug months before our baby is due. The chemical smell is so significant I could never possibly put it in a child's room in the moment. It has been 3 weeks now with an air purifier running 24/7 and the smell is only just STARTING to dissipate. It is a beautiful pattern but I won't be buying more rugs from here in the future.
