The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
Hand-stitched squares of cowhide form a calm, geometric patchwork on an ivory ground. Each tile carries subtle cream and ivory variations and natural hair-on-hide markings, creating gentle tonal movement across the surface. Fine leather stitching defines the grid and a narrow leather binding frames the piece, giving it a clean, tailored edge. The hair-on-hide surface has a soft, velvety touch and a low sheen that catches light without drawing attention.

It also complements Scandinavian, coastal, and modern farmhouse schemes, where the natural tones and tactile surface help soften hardwood or stone floors while keeping the look refined and understated.
