Hand-knotted in 100% wool, this rug presents a compact Persian-inspired allover pattern on an ivory ground. Repeating floral medallions and scrolling vines form a tight, orderly field punctuated with accents of blue, light blue, green, brown, rust red, terracotta, purple and black. A warm terracotta border with detailed floral motifs and narrow guard stripes frames the central design, while short fringes finish both ends. The wool pile has a low-to-medium profile with a soft, slightly springy hand that gives the motifs a well-defined, tactile appearance underfoot.
