Just received today no chemical smell at all. Feels like velvet and is thicker than I expected which made me happy. The pictures I posted are true to color taken next to a lt beige carpet and a goldenrod yellow throw blanket and a navy blue velvet sofa for color reference.

Online I thought the taupe colors appeared more yellow which is what I was looking for but this rug still works in my room. Overall I am very very pleased with the quality price and prompt delivery! When I ordered the rug for some reason the website didn’t process the 10% discount it initially promised. I called the company & spoke with a representative who credited my account immediately. The rug arrived quickly within 3-4 days without an extra charge or any charge for that matter as shipping was free! I was impressed all around. The picture is true to the product except the blue is not as dark in-person as it appears in the picture. However it takes nothing from the rug. Great quality.

I've had the rug for about 2 weeks and it's perfect. Purchased the 3X5 for my hardwood entry. The rug's colors coordinate with existing rugs in the den and living room which are both visible from the entry. The light background brightens the entry while the jewel colors in the pattern enliven the room. The colors are true to the on-line with a greater richness which I was thrilled to see. There was a slight bend in the ends after unpacking which was easily eliminated by placing bricks along the ends for 24 hours. The pile height is perfect and there are no issues with it sliding on the hardwoods even without a pad. I'm so glad I bought it.
