Measure the walkway
Measure the open floor along the counter or island, then leave a few inches of bare floor at each end so the runner stays clear of cabinet bases and doorways. A short runner suits the space in front of a sink, a long one fills a galley.
Washable kitchen runners
Cooking brings splashes and crumbs, so many shoppers pick a runner they can wash at home. How to wash it depends on the rug, and the product page lists the steps for each one.
