The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
A tightly stitched patchwork of small square tiles creates a refined geometric field in cream, ivory, beige and warm brown tones set against a light brown ground. The hand made cowhide and leather construction gives the surface a subtle, natural sheen and a low, hair-on-hide nap that is soft underfoot yet structured to hold its shape. The grid pattern delivers a modern, mosaic look while the tonal variation in each hide adds organic texture and visual depth.
