Hand-woven from 100% wool, this flatwoven kilim runner has a low, firm hand that sits close to the floor. The pattern is a repeating geometric design of stepped diamonds and chevron-like motifs worked in bands down the length, framed by narrow side borders and short fringed hems. The background reads multi, layered with strong contrasts in black, gray, purple, vivid red and rust red that create a lively, balanced composition across the tight weave.
