Hand-woven from 100% wool, this flatwoven piece presents a series of horizontal bands in a warm, layered palette. Stripes of beige, gold and brown are punctuated by deeper red bands and soft blue-gray accents, all set against a multi background that gives the colors depth and variation. The surface is low-profile with a tactile, nubby feel typical of hand weaving; you can feel the natural wool texture underfoot and see the subtle irregularities that come from artisanal construction.
