Cowhide Leather
A crisp geometric patchwork in warm neutrals, this hand made cowhide and leather rug pairs sharp, three-dimensional chevron forms with the natural texture of hair-on-hide. Panels of beige, ivory, light brown, brown and black are stitched together with visible zigzag seams that add a tailored, artisanal edge. Running your hand across the surface you feel the slight nap of the hide and the smoothness of the leather joins; the variation in tone and grain gives each patch subtle depth while the overall multi background keeps the pattern grounded.
