Hand-woven of 100% wool, this patchwork kilim presents a collage of rectangular panels stitched together to form a lively, textural surface. The background is multi and the palette includes beige, black, blue, brown, red, rust red, olive, orange, light blue, light brown, light green, and light salmon, with richer jewel tones and faded vintage hues sitting side by side. Patterns range from tribal diamonds and ikat chevrons to narrow stripes, checks and small medallions, each patch showing its own woven character and subtle variations in tone and weave. The flatwoven wool construction offers a low, dense texture with a tactile hand and visible weaving detail across the different patches.
