The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
Hand-made from cowhide and leather, this patchwork rug stacks rectangular skins in a tight, repeating grid that gives the surface strong linear movement. Patches alternate multi-colored cowhide—ivory, black, brown and light brown—with solid beige and warm golden-brown leather strips, creating a balanced mix of contrast and warmth. The hair-on-hide surface offers subtle pile variation and visible stitch lines that add tactile interest, while the leather panels provide a smoother, matte contrast to the fur.

It also layers nicely over a larger neutral rug or sits comfortably beneath a coffee table to define a conversation area.
