Hand made of cowhide and leather, this patchwork rug pairs a geometric, interlocking parallelogram pattern with a soft, hair-on-hide texture. Patches in beige, ivory, tan, light brown, gray and deeper brown are stitched together to create a subtle three-dimensional effect across a multi-colored field. The surface has a natural nap and slight sheen where the hair catches the light, while visible seams add handcrafted detail and tactile interest.
