The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
A grid of small, hand-stitched cowhide squares creates a tactile patchwork that mixes natural hair-on-hide with smooth leather seams. The background is multi-toned, blending ivory, beige, light brown, brown, gray and gold accents into an organic checkerboard. Some panels show subtle mottling and natural spotting while others carry a soft metallic wash that catches light; the overall surface feels soft underfoot with a low, slightly varied nap and the sturdy leather backing gives the rug structure and weight.

It also functions as a focal grounding piece in a bedroom or a refined home office where tactile materials and subtle patterning enhance a calm, collected palette.
